hey hey! I’m Jef, the creator behind No Compass, a travel/lifestyle hub for creatives and travelers who want to live a more artistic and adventurous lifestyle.

This site started as a personal journal blog, where I shared thoughts on productivity, mindset and life in general. Since then, it’s morphed into a more travel/adventure-focused hub.

No Compass represents my core philosophies in life:

• The journey is the destination

• The best things usually happen in the unknown

• You don’t need clarity or direction…just start; just go

• Embrace the mess…great human things are never perfect

• Whatever the mountain, there’s more than one way to the top

• The greatest comforts in life come after the greatest discomforts

• To do or create great things, you really don’t need to have anything figured out

• Nobody knows what they’re doing…and if they do, they’re not growing or challenging themselves

These are the core themes behind everything I write about and make.

I’m a laid-back artist and musician who wanders, creates and captures moments along the way (in words, sketches and creative work).

I love concepts in life design, the art of being lost, creative living, post-luxury status and staying carefree.

Everything here is human-made. Real moments straight from my camera roll and (hopefully somewhat) original insights from lived experiences.

This blog is a creative project and a journal. It’s a realm in my personal brand universe——the place where I share my travel life and creative work as a nomad.

A new ambient instrumental music project, inspired by nostalgiacore.

Imagine your best friend from high school is sitting in the corner playing unscripted acoustic guitar while you flip through magazines and hang out. That’s the vibe I’m going for.

Yestrday is a place to hit pause and chill…a counterpoint to balance all this creative exploring energy. It’s where I relax and reflect…
